QUESTION: Being kissed by a new man has always made me really excited. And I am finding it very hard to switch off the desire for those butterflies and excitement you get when you first kiss someone.
But ,I'm married, and I deeply love my husband. However, there is a guy who has made me feel more passionate about myself, and I find him extremely attractive. So far, nothing has actually happened, except a bit of flirtation.

I don't think I would ever have a full-blown affair, however, I am concerned because I don't feel I can be so sure about have a bit of a 'snog' or even a 'one night stand'. Having one-night stands are completely against my morals, and I have never 'pulled' in a bar, etc.

I have always been very careful, as I was a victim of date rape when I was 14. The thing that scares me is that I can see myself slipping up with this guy, who is a friend of both myself and my husband. This is a hard internal battle, which I want to win and it is going to take some willpower. But I wanted to know how common this is, and if perhaps it is more common for married people to have the fling at the Xmas bash than perhaps I think it is.

The other problem, and this is going to sound very contradictory is that my husband and I often talk about this, and that we would be very naive to think that we would never be in a situation where one of us may slip up that one night, and that we don't class that as an affair, that we would be upset, but we would put it behind us.

It is almost like handing me a ticket to spend. I didn't 'play the field' when I was younger, and I am starting to have regrets about that.

Any advice you could give would be gratefully received as this is starting to really depress me.
